Patches

This is another brother of annabelle's. Its not the best picture of him.

Scooter and Spot

This was a couple of annabelle's brothers. Scooter is the golden one and Spot is the white one with the golden spot on his eye. I can't remember who the feet belong to.

Tiny annabelle

This was annabelle when she was only a month or so old. She was the runt. She would just lay in my hands and sleep.

Annabelle

This was one of my puppies a few years ago. She's part pit bull, very miss understood breed. If they have the right training they can be very sweet lovable dogs, to all people.

Funny Animals

Just a cute video I found.

Sea Turtle Tracks

I saw sea turtle tracks for the first time when I went to visit my grandma a couple of summers ago. I never realized how many rules they have to protect the baby turtles. Never mess with a nest or you might end up in jail. And no this isn't from experience, its just a warning :)

Grandma's babies

This is a couple of my grandma's babies. Millie is the black and white-ish one and Cody is the yellow lab. I enjoy going to Florida to see them and my grandma.

Kitten

I have only shown ya'll my dog's but that's not all I have. This was one of our kittens. To continue my string of bad luck, this kitten ran away when it got a bit older. Still cute though.

Freckles

This is my step dad's dog and the reason for most of my dog's. She was an extremely talented escape artist except unfortunately she was only so good. Her talent was the end of her sadly.

Molly and Will

This is my little brother when he first came home back in april and Molly (a pomapoo), my step mom's first baby. Its amazing the connection between a dog and a human, no matter the age. Molly use to sleep in a basket in my partents room but now she will only sleep in the baby's room under his crib. I love love this pic of these two.

Life with My Furry Best Friend- Part 4

We thoroughly enjoyed swimming in our pond and this time we brought Myrah along. Myrah was not too keen on swimming in that murky water, she’d rather play on its banks so we left her tied there. It was a bright, warm day in Missouri so the pond was full of life. There were frogs all over the banks, all kinds of goldfish including the elusive giant ones whose mouths were several inches wide, and occasionally we’d see a turtle. The pond was very murky and the bottom of it felt life chocolate pudding squishing in between our toes. The pond was several feet above my head in the middle.

Shad

Another from my crew. He was my baby after my dog (Myrah) that I had for 7 years until he died of a unknown cause when he was only a year old.

Life with My Furry Best Friend- Part 3

I remember one day during the summer just before I started my freshmen year of high school, me, my three siblings, and Myrah went swimming in our little pond in the front yard. Laura, the sibling closest in age to me, was nine. She was a very scrawny girl with blonde hair and an attitude of a teenager. Sean, the next closest, was seven. He too was scrawny but he had the blondest hair I’d ever seen. His hair was almost white and he was so tan from playing outside all summer. Then there was Marissa, the baby of the family. She, along with the rest of us, was scrawny and had hair almost the same color as Laura. Marissa was very sweet and cared a lot for people.

Zoey

I thought I would give ya'll a picture of part of my crew, was part of my crew. This is Zoey. She was stolen out of my back yard and in October. I keep a look out for her but haven't seen her. She is very much missed in my household and will always be in my heart.

Life with My Furry Best Friend- Part 2

I always had so much fun with her, we ran around and chased each other or played fetch or just relaxed together. She believed she was a lap dog even though she grew to be a medium sized dog that was really too big to be a lap dog. I never cared how big she was; it felt good to have her so near to me. While she was allowed inside she shared my bed with me.

Sneezing Panda

Life with My Furry Best Friend- part 1

This was an assignment I had to do for my comp class and thought about sharing it with ya'll. I figured ya'll wouldn't want the whole thing in one post so I've broken it into several parts. Hope you enjoy.

I remember seven years ago, I was introduced to this black and white ten month old puppy. I remember thinking how gorgeous she was. I remember Mrs. Gray, an older lady that ran the horse barn where I took riding lessons, saying, “Her name is Myrah, but Luke has been trying to change her mane to Laura. He has been going around calling her Myrah- Laura, but it’s your choice what you call her.” This was a big decision for a thirteen year old, but for me it was easy. I had a younger sister named Laura, so Myrah it was. Jenna Stregowski , a dog expert for about.com, says, “The bond you have with your dog begins the moment he comes into your life and never stops growing.” This is very true about the bond between me and Myrah. Having my best friend Myrah in my life helped me through a lot of difficult times and gave me some one to celebrate with during the good times.

High School Lab :)

I came across this picture while playing around on goolge. The dog in this picture is Cali. She belonged to the Special Education teacher at my high school and came to school everyday. I remember seeing her in the hallway from time to time. She was a very sweet and calm dog. Everyone loved her. Here is the link to the article that the picture came from. http://www.deltasociety.org/Page.aspx?pid=388

My Life with Animals

I am connected to animals because I grew up with them all my life. Mostly I grew up with dogs. My dad had a Rottweiler when I was born. She became my best friend until she had to be put down when I was five. I was unable to have any more pets until I was twelve because my dad is in the military; having a pet and moving around can be very difficult. When I was twelve I was given a Jack Russell Terrier. Then I got a Brittany- Border Collie mix and a Beagle mix. Other animals I have handled were a Red- Eared Slider (a turtle), a guinea pig, and I believe a fat tailed gecko. For a couple of years I rode horses and a local stable where I was living then. When I was a senior in high school I volunteered in a local vet clinic for six or so months. Then right now I have a very adorable 4 month old puppy. I am not sure what she is exactly but by the looks of her, she is either part Australian Sheppard or Blue Healer. My life wouldn't be the same if I can't have animals in it.
